In spring, before replanting, mix the old soil with fresh substrate and a granular organic fertilizer. Let the mixture aerate for 5–7 days in a place sheltered from direct sunlight – this way the beneficial bacteria reactivate and the roots adapt more easily.
Rested soil = vigorous plantThe day before moving the plant to a new pot, moisten the existing soil well. Don't turn it into mud, but make sure it is evenly damp. This process reduces transplant shock and helps the roots detach without breaking.
Intact roots = rapid growthFor pots with orchids or plants sensitive to excess water, place a 2–3 cm layer of perlite or fine gravel at the bottom of the container. Fill with our special substrate, which maintains aeration and prevents root rot – especially after long winters.
